The workshop will be conducted by Mike Capper, one of New Zealand’s most experienced kettlebell trainers and is ideal for complete beginners along with Personal trainers looking to expand into kettlebell training.
Mike certified as an RKC instructor under Pavel Tsatsouline in Minnesota USA in 2007 and recently recertified in 2010 (refer to www.dragondoor.com ). Only 8 New Zealanders have certified as a RKC instructor. Mike has also trained under Steve Cotter using traditional Russian Kettlebell Techniques.
This workshop will cover all the fundamental and foundation kettlebell movements that are covered in the 3 day Hardstyle RKC kettlebell instructor course. However the workshop does not require any previous kettlebell training and is suitable for all beginners to intermediate kettlebell trainees. I have found 99% of self taught kettlebell trainees (including Personal Trainers) have fundamental problems with their swing and other kettlebell techniques which this workshop will expose and correct.

Please note, places are limited as small class sizes are a must for hand on teaching. The workshop is a practical course and you will be taught and guided through the movements with appropriate instruction on how to use kettlebells safely and so you can reach your training goals. Kettlebells are supplied to use during the course
