Hi Mike,
Since I made Kettlebells my weapon of choice my training as never been better. I am fitter, stronger and much more explosive. They are the most versatile tool in any athletes arsenal. Barbells are great, rings too but when it comes to cheap, portable and the sheer number of exercises you can do with only your body + the ground + Kettlebell(s) + nothing else, bells win every time.
Having used a variety of different Kettlebell makes it’s easy to say that Mikes are some of the best I’ve used so far. Well crafted, balanced, smooth enough not to tear up my hands and “grippy” enough to not slide all over the place.
Stop wasting time thinking, get some, then hit some snatches.

Hi Mike
I was introduced to kettlebells 4 years ago by Mike R and trained with him at least three times a week over 18 months. I achieved results that nothing else could equal, by losing 32 kg in weight and gaining in strength I have never known before.
I now train 12 people who are getting the same results and beleive as strongly as I do that there is nothing that can beat kettlebells and their effects.
I would like to thank you for introducing and supplying me with excellednt kettlebells and great service
Regards
Glenn Roe
Editors Note: I met with Glenn a couple of times and he spoke about the results the people he was training were getting. Now its worth noting that Glenn isn’t a fitness trainer he’s just a guy that trained with kettlebells and was so successful at losing weight and getting in shape his mates and other people came to the park where he was training and started training with him.
He told me how one of his mates Ben had lost 12kg in 4 weeks. How another Glen lost 3.5 inches off his waist but put on 2 kgs of muscle and how Nick has gone from looking like a beanpole to looking like he has been working out his whole life.
This is a great example showing how if you train correctly, train brief but hard a normal person can get fantastic results.

I highly recommend the kettlebell training DVD as the instructors were fully knowledgeable in their craft and demonstrated each technique entirely rather than rushing through as many exercises as possible. Highlights included the thorough explanations with ‘incorrect techniques shown’ and front and side angle takes on each technique to show good posture and practice.

Hi Mike
I have been meaning to write something since the course so here goes…
Like a number of the other guys I was “self taught” – I’d had the kettlebells for six months prior to going to the course. And as it turns out, like most of the other “self-taught” guys, I wasn’t doing the swing right.
Also, I was doing quite a limited number of exercises. The course helped with exercises including warm-up and shoulder flexibility through to better kettle bell technique.
Since kettles are my home gym the course has been a huge help. The trainer is very capable and nice to learn from somebody who can swing the big weights and do the hard moves!
I definitely consider this money well spent.
Thank you for sending the manual through, it is really helpful

Stephen
Hi Mike,
Meant to send this a couple of weeks ago. Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed our workshop. Took me a couple of days to get over it and we have been away for a week, but back into it now.
The difference has been subtle but noticeable. Definitely getting more work from the hamstrings with the swings and I am enjoying my TGU’s now that there is no pressure on my knees. Can knock out 10 snatches on the 24’s without breaking my wrist and have been bouncing up the hills on my runs lately.
Still keen to get the pistols sorted. I have just printed off the article from the website, so will work on that.
Cheers Graham
Hi, Mike
Thanks for doing the workshop on the weekend, I got allot of new tips and tricks to modify my technique and workout.
The most important bit of information I got out of the workshop though was with the swing. I thought I was doing it correctly but as testament my hamstrings are still sore this morning, for the past three months I’ve been using my quads too much during swings. And now have come to love the swing for it works so much of the body.
Also good work with the DVD it compliments the workshop well.
Thanks
Mark

Mike,
Thank you. I am training with the clubs and all I can say it has certainly changed my shoulder, abs, wrist and my lower back.
Actually, the clubs are used as resting exercises for me. When I am blown away from the RKB’s. I load up the clubs mostly 6′s
and just start to keep going at a steady pace.
Actually, my shoulder, pecs, and biceps have grown with the clubs.
My neck muscles used to shrink and tangle. The clubs ironed these out.
I have managed to box around at the gym at a very high rate work out.
For a 50 year old and wants to stay fit. I am absolutely thrilled with the rkb’s and clubs.
Thank you honestly. You have changed my life.
Cheers

Hi Mike,
I have used my Kettlebell a few times now and have found it to be awesome.
Thanks for your advice, now that I have used one I know that the 24kg would have been to heavy to start with!! I have a mate that has come around a few times now and he loves it too. I believe that he is going to get one! He wants to start with the 16kg, but we have had a couple of mean workouts with my 20kg!! Options are endless.
I am really liking the clean and press + chins ladders.
I am using a lat pull instead of chins, still too heavy and not strong enough for chins!
I also count down the reps from 5.
I think I will need to start saving so as I can get my next Kettlebell !!
Thanks Mike.
Cheers Oz.
‘I have recently added the kettlebells supplied by Mike at KettleBellsNZ.com to my fighter’s fitness equipment.
In the ever involving sport of MMA where functional training is king, I cannot praise the kettlebell training enough. The Bells give us another dimension to our explosive and strength training. The benefits and versatility of the kettlebells are numerous and the robustness of the design is excellent. Couple this with the fact I can transport them anywhere and implement them into the days training routine, whether track side or in the gym, makes them a highly valuable addition to our training arsenal.’
